Neither my mum nor myself liked having our photo taken. Usually the mere sight of someone with a camera would cause us to vacate the area, or find something or someone to hide behind as quickly as possible. I was so young at the time I obviously didn't know any better, and Mum was clearly so distracted by my cuteness that she didn't mind being photographed on this occasion.

I don't have many pictures of myself with Mum, which is something I will now always regret, but I will always treasure this one.
